Serviced Offices Lanarkshire

Lanarkshire or the County of Lanark is a Lieutenancy area, registration county and former local government county in the central Lowlands of Scotland. Hamilton serves as the main administrative centre of the South Lanarkshire council area. It is the fourth-biggest town in Scotland and sits 12 miles south-east of Glasgow, 35 miles south-west of Edinburgh. It is situated on the south bank of the River Clyde.
Service industries and local government are major employers in Hamilton, as are Philips, the Dutch electronics conglomerate. Restaurants and national retail outlets are situated in a redeveloped part of the Palace Grounds, visible upon entering the town from the M74 motorway. The circular Town Square has seen Hamilton receive numerous town planning awards.
Hamilton is served by three railway stations, Hamilton Central, Hamilton West and Chatelherault, all on the Argyle Line's Hamilton Circle, accessing Glasgow within 22 minutes on the limited stop Larkhall-Dalmuir service. Beside Hamilton Central lies Hamilton bus station which provides travel to surrounding towns and cities, and an express bus to Glasgow and some parts of England.
Cycling paths run from Strathclyde Park to Chatelherault Country Park following the banks of the Clyde and Avon, providing an alternative route to access serviced offices in Lanarkshire. These are being expanded as part of the Sustrans Connect2 project to form part of the National Cycle Route 74, running from Uddingston to Carlisle, Cumbria.
