What Is a Managed Office?

A managed office space strikes a balance between serviced offices and traditional leased offices, combining flexibility and serviced amenities with the ability to customise a private workspace tailored to a company’s unique needs. Managed office space:

Paying for the space, rather than desk amount, you can work with the provider to fully customise and furnish. This allows companies to create a space that reflects their brand’s identity. Managed office spaces are ideal for modern businesses looking for adaptability, efficiency, and worry-free office experience.

A Managed Office Includes:

Whilst being more of a blank canvas for your business to make its own, managed offices typically include:

Benefits of a Managed Office

  1. Flexible Contract Terms: Managed office spaces provide short- to medium-term contracts, giving businesses the flexibility to scale up or down according to their needs. This is ideal for startups, growing businesses, or companies navigating uncertain markets.
  2. All-Inclusive Pricing: Simplified with one monthly cost, managed office space usually covers rent, utilities, maintenance, internet, cleaning, and other operational expenses. This simplifies budgeting and helps businesses avoid hidden costs associated with traditional leases.
  3. Time-Saving: By outsourcing the management of office services, businesses can save valuable time. Cleaning, maintenance, and security are taken care of by the provider, enabling teams to focus on their work without disruptions.
  4. Bespoke Layout: Providers can work with you to offer bespoke fit outs to suit your company style and branding.
  5. Modern Amenities: Managed office spaces typically come with meeting rooms, high-speed internet, and facilities such as kitchens and break rooms. Many also offer additional services like reception support, IT assistance, and event spaces.
  6. Professional Environment: These spaces often have a prestigious business address, which enhances the company's image and credibility. The professional setting and high-quality infrastructure can boost productivity and employee satisfaction.
  7. Scalable Solutions: As a business grows or changes, managed office providers often offer seamless transitions to larger spaces or additional services, adapting to new requirements without the hassle of moving or extensive renovations.

With a managed office, the office is managed and serviced by an external provider, but clients are able to customise the space, and have the freedom to choose their own IT infrastructure, equipment and internet.

With a serviced office, the office comes fully-furnished and is managed by a third-party, with the third-party also providing and managing all services and amenities like equipment, and furniture.
