Farnborough is a town in north east Hampshire.
Founded in Saxon times, Farnborough was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086. Many businesses are now setting up serviced offices in Farnborough thanks to its proximity to Gatwick and Heathrow airports, and other transport links.
Although the town is probably best known for its association with aviation thanks to the Farnborough Airshow, Farnborough Aerodrome and the Air Accidents Investigation Branch, the town also has some famous alumni. And more recently, Paul Weller, David Mellor, Nigel Farage and Anne Robinson all went to school in Farnborough.
