Gloucestershire, located in South West England comprises part of the Cotswold Hills, part of the fertile valley of the River Severn, and the entire Forest of Dean. The county town is the city of Gloucester, and other major towns include Cheltenham, Cirencester, Stroud and Tewkesbury.
The county recovered rapidly from some of the worst flooding in recorded British history in 2007, by investing in attracting tourists to visit the many sites and diverse range of shops in the area.
A cathedral city, the capital of its county is built on a flat spot of land; Gloucester is situated on the River Severn and the Bristol and Birmingham Railway. Economically, Gloucester is dominated by the service industry, and has a strong financial and business sector, home to the bank Cheltenham & Gloucester; it would be the ideal base for a serviced office in Gloucestershire.
