Barking is a suburban town in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, in East London, England. The town has excellent transport links, connected on two London Underground stations. Changing at Earl's Court will mean your journey will continue to Edgware Road in Travelcard Zone 1. The Hammersmith & City line travels all the way from Barking to Hammersmith in Zone 2.
Barking is situated just north of the A13 road and east of the River Roding near the River Thames in east London. The South Woodford to Barking Relief Road, which forms part of the A406 North Circular Road, runs through the Roding Valley, with access to the town centre by the A124.
