London is a city that’s constantly growing, evolving, and changing. It’s home to the best of everything — art, culture, tech, education and business. Fueled by this growth, flexible spaces have become a staple in London. They’ve become the ultimate answer for a growing workforce, providing the opportunity for startups and entrepreneurs to take the leap—whether it be to build a brand or scale a business.

The flexible office sector has a number of benefits, most notably the ability to move and grow, as well as to be more adaptable and agile as a business. These are some of the best flexible offices in London (subject to my opinion of course and in no particular order.)

Wood green – Clockwise

Clockwise offers a wide variety of options, from co-working and hot desking to private suites, with a choice of different contract lengths. Having visited this luxurious space myself, I can without a doubt say this deserves to be on this list,` with amazing and friendly staff, this is one to check out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

Designed to celebrate the natural surroundings in this North London suburb. This building is located in Greenside House, it’s a bright, airy space with two terraces with stunning views of the City of London and Alexandra Palace. Starting in reception on the ground floor and extending through the core of the building, a striking ‘living’ wall, covered in plants and flowers.

Bloomsbury Way – TOG

The home of the Flexi team, this space was always going to be placed on the list. Located at Bloomsbury way it’s extremely accessible from anywhere in London. Only a short walk from Kings Cross, Euston, St Pancras, and Leicester Square. This location sees hundreds of thousands of people pass through it daily, making it a great location for a place to inspire and grow.

Working with the architects at Buckley Gray Yeoman, TOG’s floors in The Bloomsbury Building have been designed to channel an industrial style, members club aesthetic. The interior is filled with rich colours while the apex shape gives it a sense of light and space, and with an in-house piano and card room, there's plenty of space to play as well as work.

Old Street – Work.Life

My experience with the team at Work.Life has always been excellent, it’s an amazing provider to walk in to, and a breath of fresh air as you get a community vibe. Having worked previously at their space at Red Lion Street, I already had great first impressions, but this Old Street building is something to dream of, with beautiful floors with décor to compliment the space to the barista quality coffee, it truly is one of those places you would love to work.

Situated on the bustling Great Eastern Street, with tons of nearby amenities, you’ll find this new coworking space in Rivington House. The space boasts a trendy exterior and looks just as great inside, with excellent facilities, exposed brick walls, and natural light a-plenty.

Gracechurch Street – Orega

Surrounded by London's most iconic buildings, including The Shard, The Gherkin and The Walkie Talkie, 70 Gracechurch Street is at the heart of London's insurance district. This area attracts a diverse range of industries from financial services to recruitment with neighbouring international companies including Allianz, XL Catlin, and Bloomberg. The building was constructed in 2002 on the site of an old Roman forum, and the remains are still visible in the basement of a barber's shop on the corner.

Equally impressive is the bright, open, and newly refurbished interior with modern décor throughout, featuring an open business lounge area under a four-storey atrium and a marbled reception.

The staff are unbelievably welcoming from my experiences and have easily solidified themselves as one my favourite operators.

Aldgate Tower – Beyond

Having recently worked closely with the team at Beyond Aldgate Tower, I’ve seen first hand how much this space is cared for, and how much they want best for their tenants. A relatively new space, Aldgate Tower offers everything you’d ever want from an office.

Located at 2 Leman Street within the iconic Aldgate Tower. An impressive 16 floor glass building at the heart of this emerging district.

Huge windows enable epic views and natural light floods the expansive open floor design to enhance collaboration and human connection.

Members can benefit from a world class app with access to a huge range of opportunities from booking a meeting room to business support services.

National and global transport links are superb with the closest underground station being Aldgate East.

Theobalds Road – Boutique Workplace

An interesting location which was a survivor of the Blitz, this stunning space dates back to c1750.

Each office contained within the workplace is fitted out to the highest standards while still retaining its charming original features, and different design themes offer a range of unique atmospheres. And with the high ceilings and abundant natural light that feature throughout the building, you’ll be happy whichever one you choose.

Aviation House – WeWork

A major player in the flexible office market, WeWork has set the standard for what modern office space looks like. The company was founded in New York in 2010 and has quickly become one of the world’s leading provider of shared workspaces.

A historical hotspot for professionals working in media, law, and finance, WeWork’s Aviation House office space features a central location with unbeatable amenities. Spanning 10 floors of the renowned Aviation House building in Holborn, this dog-friendly coworking space features inviting lounges, private offices, and high-tech conference rooms.
