This centre provides space for small technology (research, development and design) companies. The building stands on its own site at the entrance to the 70 acre Surrey Research Park. The centre offers single units ranging from 205 to 880 sqft with associated car parking. Adjacent units can be linked. The units are located on two floors and are served by a central reception area, meeting rooms, a seminar room and a bistro restaurant. Each unit is finished to an office standard with carpet, suspended ceiling, heating, lighting and a telephone system. Some units include a kitchenette. Electricity in each unit is metered and then billed for by the centre. Each unit is supplied with a telephone with a minimum of 5 extension points and handsets that all have a DDI facility. There is also a central switchboard with its own number, and tenants have the choice of using either the DDI facility or the services of the central switchboard. The building has been cabled throughout by an internet provider with at least one connection point per unit. There is also a fax machine and photocopier within the reception area, and the reception desk is manned Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm. There are 8 meeting rooms that cater for between 2 and 16 people, and the larger seminar room seats 40 theatre-style or 20 classroom style.
Guildford benefits from excellent road and rail networks. The centre is approximately 3/4 mile from Guildford City Centre and half a mile from the A3 trunk road. The A3 links by dual carriageway to Junction 10 of the M25 motorway, giving direct access to the national motorway network and to Heathrow and Gatwick International Airports which are both within 35 minutes drive. Guildford mainline station is within 3/4 mile and provides a fast and frequent service to London Waterloo with a journey time of approximately 35 minutes.
